By accessing or using the Bakers District website (bakersdistrict.ae) and placing orders through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

2. Products and Pricing

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. Prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice. Prices at the time of order confirmation will be honored for that order.

Product images are for illustrative purposes. While we strive for accuracy, actual products may vary slightly in appearance due to the handmade nature of our baked goods. This variation is a feature of artisan baking, not a defect.

3. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email or message. Payment is required at the time of order placement. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay.

For wholesale orders, payment terms may differ and will be specified in your wholesale agreement.

4. Delivery

We deliver across Dubai and the wider UAE. Delivery times and fees vary by location. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 12:00 PM for Dubai addresses. We use temperature-controlled packaging for items that require it. Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery.

While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic, weather, or public holidays. We are not liable for delays caused by such factors.

5. Allergens and Dietary Information

Our products are made in a kitchen that processes wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, and sesame. While we follow strict HACCP protocols to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from any allergen. It is your responsibility to check allergen information provided on each product page before ordering.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Bakers District website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and software, is the property of Bakers District and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. User Accounts

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Bakers District shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
